FAQ

Should I call to make an appointment before coming in?
No appointments are necessary. Just walk in and let us show you how we care.

Do you take insurance?
We accept most insurance plans, including most PPOs and Medicare. Please remember to bring your insurance card and ID with you to the office. Please note that if your insurance requires copayments, that these are due at the time of service. The co-pay or deductible amount you will pay is determined by your employer and/or insurance plan. We recommend you call your insurance company or employer's benefits department to check on your immediate care coverage.

What if I have no insurance?
We offer very affordable rates for our non-insured patients.

What methods of payment do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept cash and most major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. No personal checks are accepted.

What about parking?
Our clinic has its own parking lot, including a spot for handicapped patients. In addition, there is an abundance of metered parking on Robertson Blvd directly in front of the medical office. Our office staff will cheerfully assist in replenishing parking meters when necessary.

After my urgent care visit, can I follow up with AUCBH for my care?
Yes. AUCBH serves as a general medical clinic as well as an urgent care clinic. We pride ourselves on prompt follow-up and welcome our patients to conduct their own follow-up with us as well.

What is the wait time?
We strive to keep all wait times under 10 minutes. Whenever possible, patients are seen immediately upon arriving at the clinic.

When should I go to the ER and when should I visit an urgent care facility?
See our Why Urgent Care page for a side-by-side comparison of when you should visit an emergency room and when your needs can be served by an urgent care clinic.

What about children?
Children of all ages are most welcome.

I love my doctor at AUCBH! Can he or she be my regular (primary) physician?
Yes! All of our physicians are qualified and willing to take on regular patients as primary physicians.

What if I need to see a specialist?
Our experienced doctors are immersed in the greater medical community and are able to provide referrals to the best specialists in the area.
